One is the road leading to the Blue Hole, which may be somewhat peripheral. But there's little doubt the Blue Hole needs a well-maintained road to get tourists there. Whether or not the state includes Route 66 in the Ilfeld proposal, there's little doubt that's what the city wants the space used for. (led me to study CGI as a major, even!)... so thanks for the background in character development, that's one of the most challenging facets for an animator, as it lends credence and believability to a story, connecting it to real places and people, as was the case with "Cars" & Route 66... I totally idolized Tod and Buz and wanted their lifestyle (still do), freewheeling around America in a Corvette. It was such a cool, hip show, right down to the Nelson Riddle theme song.
