La Posada’s chef and shepherd

Here is a story from Indian Country Today about a Navajo woman who supplies lamb to the chef of the Turquoise Room, an extraordinary Southwestern-style restaurant on the premises of the historic La Posada hotel in the Route 66 town of Winslow, Ariz.

I’ve eaten a wonderful breakfast in the Turquoise Room, and after perusing elaborate offerings oni the lunch and dinner menus, I intend to return. Staying at that hotel is highly recommended, too.
