The New Diner, a blog devoted to reviews of restaurants in the Los Angeles area, found a barbecue stand on Route 66 in Glendora, called Bam Bam Bar B Que.
Unfortunately, the adjective "flavorless" shows up frequently during the blogger's descriptions. I guess we won't stop there next time we're Mother Roading through Cali.
I don’t know, those pictures looked mighty good. This review wouldn’t stop me from checking the place out, especially since it’s on the great old road.
Everybody has a bad day once in awhile.
Perhaps.
But it’s a bad sign for a barbecue shack when the meat doesn’t taste good — or taste like anything — by itself.
When it’s soaked with sauce, that usually means an attempt to hide shortcomings.
It’s also a bad sign when the meat is cooked in an oven instead of a smoker. No barbecuer worth his salt would ever *not* use a smoker.
Bam’s has rockin’ good barbeque. I love that joint. I eat there all the time and would recommend it to anyone. The pork ribs are where its at but don’t you dare forget to pick up some hot links.
