Here was a pleasant surprise recently uploaded onto YouTube. The good folks of the Route 66 Road Musical in Europe posted their video of the recently departed Dot Leavitt and her Mini-Museum off Route 66 in Vega, Texas.
Leavitt died in December 2006 at age 89. However, we’ve heard that Dot’s daughter plans on keeping the museum open.
Kudos to the Road Musical for using Calexico’s brand of mariachi and alternative-rock music for the video soundtrack.
