Where is Ben? On Route 66

Ben Willmore describes himself as a “traveling Photoshop hack.” But I’ve seen his photography, and he’s being self-deprecating. He’s personally taught more than 60,000 Photoshop users and has been hired as an in-house instructor for Mercedes Benz, Adobe, America Online, U.S. Air Force, Lexis Nexis and Fisher-Price. And his images are terrific.

His main Web site is Digitalmastery.com. But his blog is called Where is Ben? Lately, he’s been traveling the western half of Route 66 and posting photos on the blog.

The photo above is a unique angle at the Sno-Cap Drive-In in Seligman, Ariz. The image comes from this post.

Check out this image of a diner at Twin Arrows, Ariz., slowly being consumed by nature.

You can see more of his Route 66 images here, here and here. That’s not all on the site, and Willmore promises to post more images from the Mother Road in the coming weeks. He also wishes to drive the entire route and see what catches his eye.

Hint to Ben: I think John’s Modern Cabins west of Rolla, Mo., would be an ideal subject.
