Deep into a story from the Joplin (Mo.) Globe is this item about a Jasper County board meeting:
The county also has received approval for a grant to develop a Route 66 Museum in the courthouse. Darieus Adams, Western District commissioner, said a review of that project has been completed.
“We just got a letter from MoDOT (Missouri Department of Transportation) telling us our plans are approved, and we can go ahead,” Adams said.
This museum for the Jasper County Courthouse has been in the planning stages for a while.
