The folks who run the Abe on 66 gift shop at 402 1/2 N. Main St. in Bloomington, Ill., tried a Spirits of Bloomington haunted historical ghost tour on Memorial Day weekend.
It was such a hit, according to the press release, that they’re scheduling others.
The tour is hosted by Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln re-enactors. Details about the tour are sketchy, but there are hints about ghosts of “the last Illinois democratic presidential candidate, a lost little girl, and mean and murderous millionaires.”
Weekend tours are being set for the fall. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $5 for children. The 7 p.m. tours are family-friendly, and the 9:30 p.m. tours are adults-only. Reservations can be made by calling 309-846-4306.
