Remember “Rhythms of the Road,” the musical TV show that shot episodes at a number of Route 66 sites a few weeks ago?
Brian Greene of Greene HD Productions, which is producing the show, e-mailed to say the tour was a “BIG success” and the company is in the midst of editing footage to get it ready for its spring premiere.
In the meantime, a “Rhythms of the Road” site has been launched, which includes a bunch of still photos from each of the Mother Road sites in which the musicians performed. It’s worth surfing over just to see the images of the band performing in front of the glow of the Munger Moss Motel‘s neon sign in Lebanon, Mo.
After viewing the slide show of the group from the road, I know this group is going to be successful. I recognized three of the guys as being regulars on the Johnnie High Country Music Review from Arlington, TX and KNOW they are great. We watch it regularly and love their music. Is this or has this show been on TV? What great publicity for the Mother Road and it’s people.
It won’t air until the spring. Greene has promised me more details when they’re available.
Great. Looking forward to your updates and seeing it when it comes out. Thanks again Ron for all your news of the Mother Road for all us roadies. Whether we tell you or not, it’s much appreciated.
