I agree with you completely, Ron. After watching this clip, and you know it’s just a small piece of Route 66, is it any wonder why so many people are so intrigued with the road? As my husband says, “it gets your blood to boiling with excitement” just thinking about the people, places and events that have made the road so memorable. It’s a slice of Americana. Thanks for the memory!
We just went on a Route 66 road trip from Tulsa to San Bernadino in October. These images were awesome so see because I recognized so many. Being from a Route 66 town (Catoosa, Oklahoma), we have a deep appreciation for this roadway..
