Back in May I saw Berry at that regular gig you mentioned. It’s essentially once a month but it seems they don’t announce a specific date until the preceding one is near or past. It’s a small venue that can sell out fast and it is mostly standing room. My going was sort of a bucket list thing though I can’t figure out how I got this old without having seen him at least once. I half expected to see an old timer just going through the motions but Chuck is still very much the performer including a little duck walk though it wasn’t across the whole stage like the old days. I certainy enjoyed it.
