Here’s a wonderful clip made by the folks at Mother’s Brewing Co., based in Springfield, Mo. You’ll quickly find it’s inspired by a certain 1970s sitcom.
The microbrewery, by the way, sits less than a block south of the St. Louis Street / College Street alignment of Route 66.

To add a bit of clarification: Mother’s Brewery is actually truly on Route 66, sitting directly across the street from Bud’s Tire and Wheel which is on the northwest corner of College Street and Grant Avenue. Many Route 66 travelers will remember Bud’s Tire and Wheel as the tire shop with the neat airbrushed 50’s themed drive-in artwork in west Springfield. Mother’s address is 215 S. Grant Ave. which makes it seem that they are a half block south of Route 66. In actuality, they are in the old Butternut Bread facility which spans the entire block south from College Street (aka Route 66) to Walnut Street and the facility faces the cross street, which is Grant and where they take their official address from.
Mother’s Brewing Company is a Route 66 supporter, having been an official sponsor of the first Route 66 Festival held here in Springfield this past August.
