Today, here are Independence Day well-wishes to the United States from far-flung guests at the Historic Seligman Sundries coffee-house on Route 66 in Seligman, Ariz.
Incredibly, Seligman Sundries co-owner Frank Kocevar says all the footage was shot in a mere two-day period in late June. It’s another example of how much Route 66 fascinates foreign travelers.
That’s amazing. All those countries represented by visitors in just a two day period? I knew there were a lot of foreign travelers on 66, but I had no idea there was that kind of volume/diversity. Great video.
I love this! When I watched it, I had one of those “I wish I’d thought of that!” moments. We have so many foreign visitors at Afton Station, but so far all we’ve had them do is sign the guestbook and autograph our big red doors.
Signing the guest book and and also the doors lets everyone feel like a part of your great endeavor. Best wishes to Afton station and “Tow Mater”.
