This photo is one of many you’ll find at the Mice Chat website, where dozens of amazing photos have been posted showing how Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., has been decorated for the Christmas season.
That includes Cars Land, where each area is decked out in automotive themes and reflecting the characters from “Cars.” I highly recommend you check out those photos; they’re about two-thirds the way down the page.
Cars Land is based on the fictional Route 66 town of Radiator Springs, as depicted by the Disney-Pixar animated films “Cars” and “Cars 2.”
UPDATE: The Orange County Register produced this video about the holiday decor. The Cars Land coverage begins around the 55-second mark:
Great stuff! Thanks for posting that Ron.
Ron, thanks for posting. I was there Oct. 26th-Nov. 1st, just missing Tom Hanks (as Walt Disney) and Emma Thompson (as P.L. Travers, author of Mary Poppins) filming in Disneyland and Cars Land being dressed for Christmas!!! We didn’t know about Tom and Emma until we got home, but we were painfully aware that we’d be missing something wonderful with the new DCA and CL Christmas decorations. So again, thank you.
