A few more details about next weekend’s auction of the Boot Hill Saloon & Grill in Vega, Texas, emerged in recent days.

Caprock Auctions, which is overseeing the sale, has set a time for 10 a.m. Central on Saturday of when bidding will begin. The beginning bid is $25,000. The auction will be on the premises and online.

— The auction will have a reserve, which the auction company told the Amarillo Globe-News is a “very, very realistic number.”

— The newspaper found owner Rory Schepisi has opened a limited-liability company, Forking Good Hospitality, in Amarillo. Schepisi told us last month she was opening another restaurant there.

— The restaurant will stay open right until the auction. So if you want what might be a last meal there, you have a few days to do so. Boot Hill’s website has been taken down, however.

Schepisi, probably best-known for her reality television roles in CMT’s “Popularity Contest” and “The Next Food Network Star,” opened Boot Hill in 2007. She put the restaurant up for sale in early 2012, citing time-travel commitments.

She revealed last month Boot Hill had suffered steep financial losses in the past year or so. Schepisi also had long complained about a lack of quality employees in the area and a lack of support from Vega residents.
