A new, 12-minute documentary was produced about the Nob Hill neighborhood of Albuquerque, which set to mark its 100th anniversary next year.
This video contains some boosterism, but it also has a lot of history and vintage photos about that now-hip section of town, including about its founder, “Colonel” D.K.B. Sellers. And, since Route 66 goes right through Nob Hill, you’ll see plenty of material about the Mother Road as well.
Way back when, you could’ve bought a plot of land in Nob Hill for $25.

What a wonderful film. Love the interviews with Sellars’ granddaughter and great-granddaughter … and the perfectly done before/after still-image pairs.
Hey, this is a fine documentary short! We can forgive the boosterism because its packed with so much wonderful history. Good job!!
