The Food Network reality series “Great Food Truck Race” currently is taking place on or near spots on Rotue 66, according to a report by the Havasu News, based in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
This season’s filming included a stop this past weekend in Lake Havasu City. The local newspaper had some of the details:
The show consists of food trucks competing for customers and a $50,000 grand prize across the nation as they show heart and skill in the dishes they make at each stop. Each city will present a challenge and Havasu will be no exception. This season has the contestants following the old Route 66 from Los Angeles to Chicago, making stops along the way.
