The former Kingman Club tavern in downtown Kingman, Arizona, has reopened as The House of Hops, with its original neon sign from 1944 restored and glowing, according to the Kingman Daily Miner newspaper.
Owner Stacy Thomson reopened the tavern at 312 E. Beale St. on May 1 after spending $2,000 to refurbish the sign in January.
The bar has been completely renovated with new flooring, walls, electrical and plumbing, and Thomson was issued a business license from the city of Kingman on April 27. […]
House of Hops offers 27 beers on tap, including selections from Kingman’s Black Bridge Brewery, along with 10 wine taps. Business hours are from 2 p.m. until the last customer is served Monday through Friday, and from 12 p.m. Saturday.
