Ann Brimacombe, an art director based in Minneapolis, posted some of the television ads she worked on for Kmart and its Route 66 fashion line.
As you can see, these whimsical ads take on a road-trip theme — including one spot near Route 66 in Meteor Crater in Arizona.

I’m not sure when these ads aired, but based on the jeans price in one of them, it probably was a few years ago.

These ads are very well done. The capture the Route 66 aura while not losing sight of their purpose to sell cloths. How many times do you watch a phenomenal TV ad and at the end ask, “What the heck were they selling?”
