One story that’s gone viral in recent days is about Poh, a terminally ill dog who’s been taken by his owner in a 12,000-mile road trip across various places in the United States.
Poh is owned by Thomas Neil Rodriguez, who’s better known as music artist DJ Neil Armstrong. After the diagnosis of inoperable cancer in the 15-year-old dog’s abdomen, Rodriguez and his fiancee decided to take Poh on a “bucket list” of destinations such as Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., New York and California.
Rodriguez said he wasn’t sure Poh would last two weeks, but the canine lasted seven — until his condition deteriorated to the point where he decided to keep him at home.
It stands to reason that Poh would have visited a few Route 66 landmarks during his travels. And indeed he did (after the jump):
Dozens of photos from Poh’s travels may be seen at his Instagram account here.
