Route 66: The Road Ahead board meeting, stakeholder reception set for next month

The Route 66: The Road Ahead Partnership‘s board of directors will hold its annual meeting next month in Tulsa, along with a reception for stakeholders and a partnership update after the meeting.

The meeting will be Feb. 16 and 17 at the Tulsa City County Library at 400 Civic Center (map here) in downtown Tulsa. The reception will begin after the meeting concludes Feb. 17.

According to a news release from the group:

 

The annual board of directors meeting will, among other things, focus on progress reports from the organization’s  Working Groups, Task Forces, and Advisory Groups. Items of note will include reports on the status of federal legislation designating Route 66 a National Historic Trail, a Route 66 navigation app project, a proposed Route 66 affinity credit card plan designed to support preservation projects, and adoption of a budget for the organization’s current fiscal year, as well as review of a proposed five-year budget.
The Annual Stakeholders Reception/Update event is an opportunity for anyone interested in Route 66 and/or the Route 66 Road Ahead Partnership to meet the organization’s board of directors and learn about the Road Ahead’s mission and goals. The Reception/Update event will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m., with light refreshments served.
