A Route 66-themed comedy tour with one American and two Australian comics this summer seeks venues for them along the Mother Road.
The Routed 66 tour will feature Dr. Brian King of the United States and Australian comics Jacci Pillar and Tim Read.
The tour begins in Los Angeles on June 21 and ends in Chicago about July 13, with the hope of booking more shows in cities along the Mother Road between those dates, Pillar said.
She also said “we’d also like to just promote little businesses along the way — with Facebook Live videos, etc.”
According to the news release:
Routed 66 is a comedic experiment of sorts. Routed 66 puts one American and two Australians together on a road trip through the heartland of America with the purpose of getting to the heart of healing by laughter
