Emma-Lee, a Canadian singer-songwriter, this week released a new video for her song, “Drivin’,” that features a slew of Route 66 sites in the Southwest.
I saw locations in Tulsa; Tucumcari, New Mexico; Winslow, Arizona; Oatman, Arizona; Santa Monica, California; Adrian, Texas; Amarillo, Texas; along with Meteor Crater and Grand Canyon National Park, both in Arizona.
Based on a time stamp on one piece of footage, the video was shot in October.
Emma-Lee posted on Facebook just before the video’s debut;
How do you fit hours of footage from a road trip spanning 4000 miles, 7 states and countless tanks of gas into a 3 minute music video? It wasn’t easy but we did it! Massive thanks to Paul Steward Photography for directing/filming, Afterlight Films for editing and The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent On Recordings (FACTOR) for supporting this project! Here’s #DRIVING (co-written and produced by Karen Kosowski)

One of the clips from Oatman included a quick glance of Jackie “Fast Fanny” Rowland Murray.
Very nice and it uses good drone footage sparingly to great effect. I hate drone footage…because I don’t have a drone and I’m jealous.
