Oklahoma Tourism and Broken Arrow-based Retrospec Films announced last fall they would launch a year-long series of weekly films about various road-trip destinations, including Route 66.
Among the episodes that focused on the Route 66 towns of Oklahoma City, Claremore, El Reno, Yukon, Elk City, Weatherford, Hinton, Stroud, Depew, Arcadia and Tulsa can be viewed here. It’s part of an effort to raise Oklahoma’s tourism profile.
