Though it’s been open for more than a year, Gearhead Curios in downtown Galena, Kansas, held its official ribbon-cutting on Saturday.

Perry closed the deal on the 1939 gas station at 520 S. Main St. (aka Route 66) in the fall of 2018.
Since then, he’s added a Doc Hudson replica from the “Cars” movie, installed neon lighting and planted a modified Big Boy statue, along with a lot of face-lift work on the station itself.
