Hurray for the Riff Raff’s new music video shot in Tucumcari area

Hurray for the Riff Raff, a music act that hails from New Orleans, recently released a video for the song “Hawkmoon” that was shot in the Route 66 town of Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Viewers will notice the city’s Palomino Motel and the Kix on 66 restaurant.

The video was directed by Jeff Perlman and shot partially on Super 8 and Super 16 film.

The band stated in a Facebook post about the video: “A small but mighty team of people helped bring this vision to life and we thank them for their incredible work.”

Hurray for the Riff Raff is essentially the brainchild of Alynda Segarra. The “Hawkwind” video came days before Hurray for the Riff Raff released a new album, “The Past Is Still Alive.”
