Robbie Robinson and two members of his Route 66 Band will host a special “A Night at the Museum” event at the Litchfield Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center in Litchfield, Illinois, the night before their Wildey Theatre show.
The Litchfield museum show will be at 7 p.m. on Halloween (Oct. 31), with the Wildey show on Nov. 1 as part of the Miles of Possibility Route 66 Conference in nearby Edwardsville.
The show at Litchfield, directly across from the Ariston Cafe, will include stories, acoustic performances, and a meet-and-greet.
Robinson, a native of Litchfield, was a longtime keyboardist and music director for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
The other two musicians at Litchfield will be Vinny Martell and Sarah Niemietz. Martell was a guitarist for Vanilla Fudge, and Nimietz was part of Postmodern Jukebox and Pomplamoose.
They also did a small tour of Route 66 in Illinois last year.
The conference from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 will feature a slew of guest speakers, including the keynote address by Joel Baker, founder of the American Giants Museum in Atlanta, Illinois, and a champion of Muffler Men fiberglass figures.
