The new. 30-foot-tall “Visit Luther” neon sign that was installed along Route 66 in Luther, Oklahoma, a few weeks ago was formally dedicated Friday, with Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell presiding.
KFOR-TV in nearby Oklahoma City filed this report:
As the report notes, the sign contains two arrows — one that points to the Couch Pecan Orchard, which donated the land, and other towards downtown Luther.
Artist Cameron Eagle designed the sign, and the $70,000 cost was covered by an Oklahoma Route 66 Commission grant.
