Photographer Danny Griffin recently completed a Route 66 trip — starting in Tucumcari, N.M., and going west — for a shoot with model Jessica Vaughn.
You’ll see Tucumcari’s Blue Swallow Motel and a few other remote locations in Arizona. And don’t worry — this particular video version with Vaugn is safe for work.

UPDATE 9/9/2011: The video has been taken down, and a re-edited video has taken its place. Kevin and Nancy Mueller, owners of the Blue Swallow Motel, objected to the use of the brief motel footage (in both the SFW version above and one containing nudity that I didn’t link) and asked that it be removed. Griffin obliged.
Griffin said no nude photographs or video was ever taken at the motel. He also said this in an email:
I did not mention that there would be nudity in photographs and video outside his property. It isn’t something I would think to say since it had nothing to do with the activities at his motel.
Despite his disappointment in not being able to use the motel in the video, Griffin said he remains a fan of the Blue Swallow and Route 66 in general.
UPDATE 9/18/2011: A few days ago, Vaugn sent this autographed photo to Frank Kocevar of Historic Seligman Sundries. The photo was shot in front of his 1955 Chevrolet wagon and Invader trailer.
