The neon sign at Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land went up a few weeks ago. The Disney Parks Blog had a video camera on time-lapse mode to capture its installation:

According to the blog about the main 27-foot-tall sign:
Imagineers say all the neon signs are built using traditional fabrication techniques, which means glass is used instead of plastic, just like the original neon signs of the past. The sign in this video took 14 hours to install.
Cars Land opens in Disney California Adventure Park on June 15. Cars Land is inspired by the fictional Route 66 town of Radiator Springs as depicted in the Disney-Pixar films “Cars” and “Cars 2.”
