About 10 days ago, Ed Klein at Route 66 World announced a fundraiser to help restore the historic neon sign at the 66 Motel in Needles, Calif.

Klein has raised $1,120 as of Monday evening, but he’s less than a third of the way and has just nine days remaining to meet his $3,600 goal.
