The International Walldog Mural & Sign Art Museum in Pontiac, Ill., is offering customized holiday greeting cards of the town’s famous Route 66 mural at a discounted price during the month of November, according to a news release from Pontiac Tourism.
According to the news release:
The picture can include you and your family in front of the mural and the cards can be personalized with your greeting either on the cover or inside the card.
Family, friends and colleagues will enjoy these unique cards from your hometown and you can enjoy knowing that your purchase will benefit the museum and help further its mission of honoring the Walldogs, both past and present, and preserving and increasing the appreciation for the art of mural painting and sign art.
The International Walldog Mural & Sign Art Museum, at 217 N. Mill St. in downtown Pontiac, will have samples of the notecards on display, along with order forms. The Walldog museum, which sits near the Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown, also features its share of Route 66 memorabilia. And the folks behind the museum created the aforementioned mural.
