So much for the high cost of gasoline. According to the Kingman Daily Miner, the Arizona Route 66 Association’s annual Fun Run boasted 815 entrants, beating last year’s record of 800.
That’s a lot of classic cars in one place. 🙂

Where can one get a list of winners from the show in Kingman? And also various pictures of cars that participated?
I attended the “Fun Run” with friends and took lots of pictures and would also like to see some online. It was a very exciting weekend for us all.
Wow that’s weird, I was at the powerhouse sat around 5 pm and they told me the number was 750, so 65 people paid $50 for the run to Oatman between 5 and 6pm, that’s great. I am uploading all my pictures to an online picture site and will link my pics to here later today.
I have a few questions I’m hoping someone will answer
1) why was there nothing happening Sat night in Kingman? went to check into my hotel around 4 and came back at 6:30 and it was a ghost town
it was way hot in the sun and it would have been great if there some bands or something there at night.
2) what was the deal with the french people, I’m not trying to be an ass but they walked past a whole line of people waiting in Lilo’s and got real cranky when they thought they wern’t getting waited on fast enough
Ok I just saw Carolyn’s email was from 07, there were 750 + at the event and was a great time even with the French people
