The Bristow Firestone Service Station at 321 N. Main, aka Route 66, in Bristow, Okla., was added to the National Register of Historic Places on Sept. 6.
I was passing through town today, so I shot photos of it.
As you can see, the sign pole is still standing, even if the sign is long gone.

According to the Bristow tourism site, the Firestone station was built between 1924 and 1929.
Even though the building is well-maintained, I’m not sure what it’s being used for. I did see a pickup truck in the parking lot, advertising a range hood business, however.
