After 12 days on Route 66, popular videoblogger Adam the Woo decided it was a good time to visit the Mother Road-inspired Cars Land near his home base of Anaheim, California.
“It just made sense to go to Disney California Adventure to visit Cars Land while Route 66 was fresh in my head,” he wrote on the video description.
The resulting 11-minute video is one of the most comprehensive I’ve seen about Cars Land, which opened in 2012 — about six years after the “Cars” movie that inspired it.
About the only thing missing from Adam’s Cars Land video is the neon-lighting ceremony each day at dusk. This video, however, from MousePlanet.com will suffice.

Hey Ron,
He’s actually based in Hollywood now. He left the Anaheim area a couple of years ago, traveling and living first in a van and then “Large Marge” (his RV). Not that I’ve seen all 1911 “The Daily Woo” episodes or anything…
