Cameron stated on her event’s GoFundMe page:

Motorcycles and mutts saved my life. While one taught me how to escape the darkness, the other taught me about unconditional love. They both taught me the importance of caring for yourself so that you can care for others in your community.

A decade ago, I was introduced to riding motorcycles, which would transform my life forever. I found a new sense of identity, purpose, & passion. I also found the sense of community that I’d been desperately searching for alone in LA. Turns out, that community was on 2 wheels!

Nearly three years ago, during the pandemic, I fell in love with a tiny black puppy rescued from a distressing hoarding house in Bakersfield. He came to me at just 12 weeks old, a bundle of innocence and craving affection. My heart explodes every time I look at him. He’s been my motivator for overcoming hard times, and excitedly greets me at the door, regardless of the challenges faced throughout the day. I didn’t know I could my heart was capable of so much love!

  1. Cute ‘lil Chopper fits right in Route 66 Cruisin’ style with his leather vest and Doggle Goggles!

  2. When will you be by Ash Fork, Az? It’s part of 66. My wife and I are photographers and would love to photograph you and your dog. Contact us through patriotridgephoto.com if you’re interested.
