The Big Texan Slug Bug Ranch officially was christened and opened Friday after the original Volkswagen Beetles were moved to Amarillo from their original home in Conway, Texas.

Big Texan Slug Bug Ranch sits at 1415 Sunrise Drive (map here) on Amarillo’s east side. It’s next to the Big Texan RV Ranch and about a mile west of the landmark Big Texan Steak Ranch.
