The historic Ace Sign Co. of Springfield, Illinois, is being featured in a Super Bowl ad campaign for Google Workspace.
The shot ad includes footage from the neon signs at the Illinois Route 66 Experience at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.
Ace has fabricated a lot of neon signs in Springfield and the Route 66 corridor in central Illinois since 1940.
The company’s museum features several restored neon signs that stood at now-defunct Route 66 businesses.
Casey Claypool of the Illinois Route 66 Scenic Byway flagged the Ace ad a few days ago.
Ace is part of Google Workspace’s “50 States, 50 Stories” campaign.
