Coincidentally, we just drove this stretch the other day…VERY COOL!

not bad … too bad they had to end on McDonald’s of all things, but some good shots both off and on 66 in WeHo, and some great commentary as well. I wish the audio quality on Jim’s portions would have been better because he had some great things to say (happy b-day by the way, Jim!), but a wonderful piece, and a great piece of LA County Route 66 on display here!

Yes this was a lot of fun to do. Working with the folks from the City of West Hollywood is always a pleasure. Add in Kim and her supporters at the Neon Museum and you have a great partnership.
Scott they did the interview over the phone, I was on my cell so it wasn’t that good.
If you do not have one of their brochures you need to get one.Great way to spend a few evenings checking out their neon lights.

Kudos, Jim and your colleagues for placing The Mother Road back in the limelight – right where she should be! Your description of Route 66 being recognized as a “beacon” truly sums it up! Likewise, Museum Spokesperson (Kim) articulates perfectly that people are attracted to lights & color which ultimately translates to “positive energy”. How true, Hollywood made Route 66 famous and allowed people (like myself from Canada) to experience the road from our living room. And for that, I thank you (Jim & the Alliance) for keeping the spirit of Route 66 ALIVE. Kicks, always, Lorrie Fleming (One for the Road)…
