The Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona has long been a popular side trip for Route 66 travelers.

Another excellent video, shot by Dan Carter of Scottsdale, Ariz., features the historic sites at the canyon’s South Rim, including El Tovar hotel. Architect Mary Coulter has her fingerprints all over many of these sites. And the canyon’s wildlife also have a co-starring role in the clip.
