KAET-TV, a PBS affiliate based in Phoenix, produces the “Check, Please! Arizona” program that places the spotlight on notable restaurants in the state.

Recently, the program took a closer look at chef John Sharpe and his Turquoise Room, inside the historic La Posada Hotel on Route 66 in Winslow, Ariz.

I embedded the video so it should begin at the Turquoise Room segment. If it doesn’t work, skip ahead to the 17:44 mark.

La Posada- no doubt some of the best food on the road. A night in the old hotel, and couple of meals in the Turquoise Room, and a trip on 66 will never be the same again.
