A few days ago, a group of artists from Cartoonists Across America & the World was putting the finishing touches on a Route 66-inspired mural created by cartoonist Phil Yeh. The mural is at D Street and 10th Street in San Bernardino, Calif.

As one of the artists that participated in this mural project, I want to thank Phil Yeh, Linda Adams, Lieve Jerger, Linda White and the other artists who helped. Cartoonists Across America & The World is a very worthwhile organization, and I’m proud to play a small part. I’d also like to thank Mayor Pat Morris, Gary Saenz and his family. The mural is a testament to what can be done it neighbors come together to make their world a little better.
